The Cartwright story started in the early 1930s with William (Bill) and Jesse Cartwright, who had just survived the Great Depression and were looking for a way to provide for their large family. They got a truck and started offering general hauling services, which eventually resulted in a business that specialized in the movement of household goods.
In the 1960s, Bill’s oldest son helped the company expand into the international market, and in 1967, they built the office building where the Cartwright Companies staff is housed even today.
Now, 89 years later, the Cartwright Companies is made up of 14 different businesses, including Cartwright Global Mobility.
